Equitable Foundation The Equitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Equitable, directing the company's philanthropic and volunteer activities and working to improve the quality of life in communities across the country where Equitable has a presence. 

Equitable Achievement The Equitable Foundation's signature program, Equitable Achievement, helps make college possible by providing access and advice. More than $1.3 million in scholarships are awarded each year, making Equitable one of the nation's largest corporate providers of scholarships. Equitable Achievement is a comprehensive resource for information to help navigate the complex process of college selection, application, and financing. 

Equitable Matching Gifts Program The Equitable Matching Gifts program gives Equitable employees the ability to direct the foundation's contributions to the issues and commitments they feel are important. The program is entirely Financial Professional/employee-driven. Approximately $2 million in contributions per year, including Equitable Disaster Relief Matching Gifts Program.

Local

One of our cornerstone statements is to enrich our community. In 2015, we were honored with the Arizona Governor's Award for Volunteerism due to our efforts for serving in various capacities throughout the state and beyond. Throughout the year we have several opportunities for our advisors and staff to give back in both group and individual settings. 

Elevate Phoenix Backpack Drive, Adopt a Military Family for the Holidays, Every Kid Counts Toy Drive Equitable Day of Service: Hacienda House, Phoenix Rescue Mission, Junior Achievement of Arizona, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale.

Weekend Jetaway Our Scottsdale office developed a firm-wide giving initiative, which led to the creation of a now annual event, Weekend Jetaway. Weekend Jetaway is the brainchild of Equitable Advisors and partners as both a way to bring its own staff together on a volunteer effort and raise funds for charity via an evening of gourmet food and drink, live music, surprise entertainers and a live auction that that will culminate with four lucky guests winning a luxurious two-night, three day round trip vacation on their very own private jet (all donated). Since inception in 2012, Weekend Jetaway has grossed more than $650,000 for local charities and continues to build momentum every year. It has now turned into an anticipated charity event with 1000+ guests. Most importantly, with all the fun comes a chance to make a big impact on the benefiting charity and our community.
